Harold Young has been in the landscape industry for over 23 years. His duties have encompassed everything from pipe puller assistant to CEO and most jobs in between. Currently Harold oversees internal operations related to the Production and Estimating. He uses this knowledge of the field operations and combines it with his analytical abilities to increase the company’s efficiencies and productivities. Harold’s goal is to continue to develop strong internal professional policies and procedures that will maximize the client’s experience as well as the over-all productivity of Pierre’s workforce.

Born and raised in Syracuse, New York, Joe moved to California in the early 80s. It was here at Cal Poly Pomona that he earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management and International Business while playing for the school’s basketball team. After seven years with Pepsi-Cola, he moved into the landscaping industry as a Sales Manager for Rain Bird. During his five years at Rain Bird he was quickly promoted to District Manager. It was then that he met Harold who convinced him to run the reigns for Pierre. After six years as President , Joe appreciates that Pierre is a company that focuses on long term relationship by doing the right thing for the client. We don’t believe in the word “no” rather we want to provide solutions for our employees and customers. When he’s not overseeing all operations, Joe enjoys supporting and watching his three girls play sports, playing golf and exercising.
