The state-of-the-art facility includes a 52-meter by 25-yard all-deep water pool with a dividing bulkhead, allowing competitions to take place at varying distances. The aquatics center also features three, five, seven and a half, and 10-meter platforms on a diving tower as well as one and three-meter spring boards.
The facility features has state of the art locker rooms for both men's and women's teams in addition to permanent seating for spectators. The east side of the venue dones a "Champions Wall" which will include the accomplishments of UCLA's past and present aquatics teams in addition to a LED scoreboard.
Pierre Sprinkler & Landscape worked with PCL Construction to complete the project for the opening of the 2009 fall term. The work involved entailed mostly ornamental landscaping to make the facility more aesthetically pleasing. Thus 15 gallon bamboo, 5-gallon shrubs and 5-gallon vines were the majority of the plants installed. Sod was also installed throughout the grounds.
