Pierre Sprinkler and Landscape Receives Recognition From the Montebello Unified School District

The Pierre team received a recognition award from MUSD for the design, creation and installation project at Montebello High School's new Applied Technology Center. The Applied Technology Center, which was featured in The San Gabriel Valley Tribune, has been gaining acknowledgment for their selective classes geared towards specific career interests.
The Pierre team installed the following items at The Applied Technology Center:
- 54 Remote Control Valves
- Irrigation Booster Pump
- 255 Box Trees (24" and 36")
- Including: Eldar Pines, CA Sycamore, Virginian Oaks, and Australian Willows
- Over 47,000 sq. ft. Jute Mesh
- Over 9,000 Total Shrubs Installed (1 and 5 gallon)
- 48,000 sq. ft. of Decomposed Granite Pathways and Play Surfaces
- Sand Volleyball Pit
- 18,000 Linear ft. of Irrigation Piping
- Total:133,600 sq. ft Plant and Lawn Area
The Applied Technology Center, which was just opened to students this Septemnber, will offer students advanced training in areas such as engineering, construction trade, health and human services, law and government services, and health and leisure. This school, which is only one of few in the country of its kind, was paid for with a $98 million Measure M bond which was passed in 2004.
